About

I’ve always thought of myself as a “proper Bostonian.” I’m a person of many identites and cultures, like most of us are.

I’ve lived near Boston my whole life where I was raised in the Brazilian community surrounding the different suburbs and neighborhoods of the city. My mother, a proud Brazilian, instilled a sense of curiousity and community in all of the work I do.

I’m a current Boston University student studying Journalism. This semester, I am interning at three different publications of different focuses: Frontrunner Magazine, HorizonMass and the Concord Bridge. As a young reporter getting my foot in the field, my work has brought me through several sides of the city that has continued to surprise me in new ways everyday.

I’ve been published in different news organizations. All of which appear in this website.

In a sense, the stories I find tell broader stories of a changing America that early-career journalists like myself have the privilege of covering.

I am a passionate storyteller and wildly curious. I hope to become a better communicator and collaborator.
